Abstract

The Indonesian National Police (POLRI) is a state instrument in the field of maintaining security and public order, law enforcement, protection, shelter and service to the community. In carrying out its duties, POLRI cannot help but come into direct contact with civil society, the development of society in the current era is increasingly critical in highlighting the professionalism and performance of the POLRI. So that the POLRI as a state institution needs to make improvements. One of the improvements made by POLRI at this time is through a talent management program that aims to manage POLRI talent to become quality future POLRI leaders. This study focuses on looking at the influence of talent management on employee engagement and the performance of POLRI members. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive influence of talent management on employee engagement and employee engagement on member performance. It is hoped that this research can provide input in continuing and optimizing the talent management of the Indonesian National Police.
